My story

As most of you know Stan has Alzheimers and is in a care home. When he was first diagnosed, Alzheimer Scotland helped him and Sarah to meet up and go for walks and coffee with others in the same situation. On 26 October Sarah, Heather, Morag, and Michael are taking on Scotland’s Memory Walk for Alzheimer Scotland.Alzheimer Scotland is committed to making sure the vital funds you raise ensures people living with dementia and their carers get the support they need. Your funds will support their campaigning work to improve standards of care and support, as well as allowing them to undertake critical dementia research. They will also fund their work empower people to understand and maintain their own brain health.Your donations will contribute to all areas of work; delivering support across our 26 Dementia Centres (including our online Virtual Resource Centre), supporting their National Dementia Advisor Service and 24Hr Freephone Dementia Helpline.
